TERMS & CONDITIONS

When booking a time slot at Waterheath Dog Meadow all clients (including anyone attending the booking with the client) are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

Bookings

There is no admittance to Waterheath Dog Meadow without a booking.

Card payment will be taken at the time of booking to secure your slot. Only book during daylight hours as there are no flood lights at Waterheath Dog Meadow.

You will receive the gate code to access Waterheath Dog Meadow by email before the start of your session – please check each visit as this will change. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure they know the current gate code for their booking. Clients must not share the gate code with anyone else. Do not leave the gate unlocked when you exit, even if someone else is waiting to go in.

You will receive a confirmation of booking by email, a reminder 24 hours before your booking and an email confirming the gate code 2 hours before the start of the session.  

Clients are required to enter and exit Waterheath Dog Meadow within their booked time slot. If you arrive late for your booking, please leave within your time slot.

We have a small gap between bookings to give you time to leave the car park promptly at the end of your session and to ensure it gives time for clients enter and exit safely.

It is a condition of hire that all clients clean up after their dog, bins and waste bags are provided.

Waterheath Dog Meadow reserve the right to remove access to clients who do not clean up after their dog(s).

Please take all rubbish away with you or put in the bins provided. 

It is a condition of hire that clients leave Waterheath Dog Meadow in a clean and tidy condition.

Cancellations

A full refund will only be provided if the cancellation is made 24 hours before the date and time of the booked slot. 

Waterheath Dog Meadow reserves the right to cancel your booking, although every effort will be made not to do this, and a full refund or alternative slot will be offered.

 

Dog Health and Behaviour

It is a condition of hire that all dogs must be up to date with their vaccinations and worm treatments.

Waterheath Dog Meadow reserves the right to ask you for supporting evidence to satisfy these medical requirements and decline access if such conditions cannot be met. 

Please do not bring dogs with illnesses such as kennel cough or sickness and diarrhoea.

Waterheath Dog Meadow reserves the right to cease any hire agreements with immediate effect should we deem any dog to be unsuitable due to the behaviour or health conditions.

Dogs are never to be left unattended in Waterheath Dog Meadow.

Children

Children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.

Please do not allow children to climb on the seating, fence, gate or equipment.

Waterheath Dog Meadow accepts no responsibility for any death or injury to client/child or damage to their property whilst on the premises. 

 

Water

Water will not be provided at Waterheath Dog Meadow for hygiene reasons. A bowl will be provided, please empty at the end of your session.

Equipment

Waterheath Dog Meadow accepts no responsibility for any canine or human injury caused by using the equipment at Waterheath Dog Meadow. Clients agree that the proprietors maintain full control and possession of Waterheath Dog Meadow and any equipment supplied. The hire of Waterheath Dog Meadow does not constitute any rights over the land.

All play equipment is intended solely for canine use.

All equipment belongs to Waterheath Dog Meadow and must not be removed.

Equipment may be added or removed by Waterheath Dog Meadow at any time without notice.

Please inform Waterheath Dog Meadow of any broken Equipment

Safety

If you arrive early for your allocated booking, please wait in the waiting area until your booked time. Under no circumstances should clients enter the main car park until the previous customer has left.

Never enter the field if it is in use, please contact Waterheath Dog Meadow if you experience someone staying past their booked time slot or entering the field early.

Please ensure the gate is properly closed before letting your dog off the lead.

Please always shut the gate on your departure, even if the next client is waiting, this ensures that all clients have booked. Please do not provide access for or tell anyone else the gate code.

Smoking, vaping, open fires and the use of BBQs are not permitted onsite.

We recommend all clients insure their dog for all circumstances including third party liability to cover their period of hire.

Waterheath Dog Meadow is for the sole use of canine exercise.  

Waterheath Dog Meadow accepts no responsibility for any death or injury caused to a client or damage to their property when onsite. Clients use Waterheath Dog Park and the car park at their own risk.

Waterheath Dog Meadow accepts no responsibility for any death or injury caused to a dog or resulting vet bills.

You are responsible for your own and your dog(s) safety and agree to use the field at your own risk. We cannot accept any liability for humans or animals harmed by the natural environment.

If clients are professionals using the meadow for training purposes or providing a service, we must have a copy of your business insurance.

Maximum of 2 cars in secure car park and 2 cars waiting

Security

Waterheath Dog Park will endeavour to ensure that the field is secure, with regular checks. However, due to its rural location it is possible that the fencing may be compromised by wildlife and dogs digging. Please be aware of any hazards like uneven grounds and slippery conditions.

Please check the field is secure for your dog(s) before they are let off the lead. Please do advise us of any security concerns and do not let your dog off the lead.

Waterheath Dog Meadow accepts no responsibility for escaped dogs. In the event that this happens please call 07867525959 and will do our very best to help.

The fence is 6 feet high, please do not allow dogs to jump up at the fence and gate or dig the ground. If your dog digs a hole, please back fill it to prevent an escape route or an injury to others.   

 

 

XL Bully Dogs (Applicable to other controlled breeds)

From 1.2.24, to keep an XL Bully dog it must be:

🐾 Microchipped.

🐾 Kept on a lead and muzzled at all times when in public.

🐾 Kept in a secure place so it cannot escape.

🐾 Neutered.

As the owner, you must also:

🐾 Be over 16 years old.

🐾 Take out third party public liability insurance against your dog injuring other people.

🐾 Be able to show the Certificate of Exemption when asked by a police officer or a council dog warden, either, at the time of within 5 days.

Other

Waterheath Dog Meadow reserves the right to alter the terms and conditions without any prior notice.   

We accept no liability for any losses, claims, actions, damages, costs/expenses or other liability incurred by the client during the use of the field.

We do not accept any liability for damage or theft to cars whilst on our property.
